RETURNS

As all our items are made in our studios, we are fully on top of checking and quality control.. We use only the best fabrics and trims and it is unlikely you will receive a substandard item from us unless it is being sold as such.

WE totally appreciate that online shopping is often not as convenient as store shopping and so it is important that you check our sizing charts and item particulars  before purchase.  This helps to eliminate costs all round.  If you are unsure, then please do not hesitate to contact us and we can guide you thru the answers

1.    If you wish to return an item that is not bespoke/exempt from return, please contact immediately so we can instruct you on the return.
1a.    If you would like to exchange your item for an alternative garment or a credit note, please return it unworn within seven days of receipt. Please state the problem  with the garment and what you would like to exchange it for. Don’t forget to include name and return address.
1b, If you do not want an alternative item and require a refund, then you must contact us within 24 hours of your parcel being signed for. We will then give you a  return code.

     ***Please Note: Any items returned without obtaining a return code will not be eligible for a refund and a credit note will be issued.
2.    Items must be returned with 7 days from delivery
3.    Only once we have the item back can we refund as this helps negate theft.  Should an return go missing, we will do all we can to help to pursue a claim with the
     postal service you have used.
4.    NOT ALL items are eligible for refunds and this will be notified on that specific department or item.  This is in line with the trading laws.
5.    NO postage costs incurred by your for your return will be refunded unless the wrong item has been dispatched by us.
6.    NO RETURNS/REFUNDS are NOT given on the following:
                                           Headwear
                                           Lingerie
                                           Jewellery that entails thru-body contact ie: earrings, piercings, dermals
                                           Sale items
                                           Any gently worn/second hand/slight seconds item we resell
                                            -  all in accordance with the Health & Hygiene Laws

7.    Should you wish to return an item that you are stating has become 'damaged' due to a seam coming apart or lace coming off, you must email first so that we can  ascertain the necessary action to take for its return.  You must be aware of the following facts & conditions:
     a)  all items prior to shipping are quality controlled,being checked for any imperfections not listed in a sale. This includes all seams, hems, trims & linings.  All fabrics are stress tested to be sure that seams/threads etc will not part under the normal wear for which the garment is intended.
     b)  should you state that you personally have not damaged nor caused any inadvertent stress to the garment whatever that be ie: too tight, Stood on etc., it will be  necessary for you to agree to a simple set of terms in that, if we deem - through the various methods of testing and examinations we use to assess damage on a returned garment - that the damage is indeed caused during wear under duress, then you will agree to pay for the repair & return or return without repair of your item.
Should you wish to do neither then you will be accepting that the item will neither be repaired nor returned.


                 Failure to read these T&C does not exempt you from their actioning.

     
8.    When returning a garment please fold it neatly and package securely.  Ensure that when you post it, a signature is required on receipt.

We will not accept returns on items that are sent back: crumpled up, have deodorant/any marks, pet hair or smell strongly of smoke, perfume or bodily odours

9.     INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - The following information must be strictly followed to if you are returning items to us. To avoid Customs charges upon receipt you are required to state clearly on the outside of the package the following statement:

       "TEMPORARY EXPORT Item returned to manufacturer for repair / replacement"

       Failure to state this may incur import duties. We will refuse parcels with import duties attached to them and insist they are returned to the sender

10.    Re-Stocking Fees & Refunded payments

Please note that we reserve the right to charge a Re-Stocking fee of £5 or 10% of the order to customers who we believe are abusing the returns policy.  Repeated returns from a single order will be subject to a 20% charge.  
The same applies for items that have been delivered too late for an event for which you needed it if the delay was due to the shipping merchants rather than ourselves.  Dates will be on all shipping receipts and we check their delivery timescales to be sure it reaches you when you need it.
 
      All granted refunds will be processed and repaid to you within 28 days tho this is usually a lot sooner if we get the item back quickly

     In the event that
we refund you before the 'missing' parcel is received by us, should you in the meantime sign for the parcel, you will be liable for the issue of a new invoice for that item as,  by signing for its receipt, you are accepting the purchase and entered into that contract of sale.  It also constitutes theft.

Should you open a paypal dispute before the refund has been processed, you will no longer be able to purchase from Belladonnas Boudoir using that method of payment again.  This is to protect our own interests against theft.


BESPOKE ITEMS

1.  are non refundable (in accordance with Trading Standards Laws)

2.  If you have provided measurements and an item does not fit, then there is nothing we can do as we will be sure that it has been created to those specific measurements.

3.  Should you lose weight during the creation of an item, you must let us know immediately in the hope that we can alter this before completion.  In the event it is not  possible you will either have to accept the item as it is or incur further charges for re-alteration.

4.  We will, under no circumstances, accept a return a bespoke item for refund.  Should you choose to ignore this, it will be seen that you are returning the item in the full knowledge that you will not receive a refund and you are returning it for us to sell on as it will not be returned to you.
